Aberdeen-based dive consultancy will double in size after securing a multi-million dollar contract with 'an established UK North Sea operator'.

Aberdeen-based dive consultancy DiveSource Limited announced that it will double in size after securing a multi-million dollar contract with ‘an established UK North Sea operator’.

DiveSource won a three year Master Service Agreement with the unnamed company, which comes with two optional one-year extensions, for the provision of subsea representatives and consulting services.

The contract award will allow DiveSource to double its core team based in Aberdeen in the first quarter of 2018.

"The award of a contract of this size and value means that the future of the BOP Blow Out Preventer repair company gulf coast is extremely positive in what remains a challenging market,” said DiveSource managing director, Sarah Hutcheon, in a BOP Blow Out Preventer repair company gulf coast statement.

“It has given us the confidence to grow our core team within Aberdeen and our staff levels will have more than doubled by the end of Q1 next year,” she added.

Within the last year DiveSource has launched the Dive Control Simulator, expanded its team and been recognised as an official training provider on the Transition Fund Scheme, which helps those affected by the oil and gas downturn.
