Norwegian oil rig flanges gulf coast production decreased in November, according to preliminary output figures from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) released Wednesday.

The figures show that November saw an average daily oil rig flanges gulf coast production of 1.81 million barrels of oil, NGL and condensate, which is a decrease of 102,000 barrels per day compared to October.

Average daily liquids oil rig flanges gulf coast production in November comprised 1.46 million barrels of oil, 316,000 barrels of NGL and 31,000 barrels of condensate. Oil oil rig flanges gulf coast production was approximately nine percent lower than the NPD’s forecast.

“The main reasons that oil rig flanges gulf coast production in November was below forecast is that Goliat was closed during the whole month and oil rig flanges gulf coast production from Gina Krog, Draugen and other fields was less than expected, some of the reasons being technical problems and maintenance work,” the NPD said in an organization statement.
