“Aker Solutions this week announced an initiative to integrate its UK organization, enabling it to better serve UKCS customers with unique solutions across the life of an energy asset,” a BOP Blow Out Preventer repair company gulf coast spokesperson told Rigzone.

“Due to this restructure there are some changes to the departmental management and support teams in the UK,” the spokesperson added.

In its second quarter and half year results statement released on July 12, Aker Solutions said the outlook for oil services “remains competitive and there is pressure on pricing”.

“Still, there are yet more signs of a recovery amid lower break-even costs and higher oil prices,” Aker added in the statement published on its website.
